Are You Ready? is the fourth studio album by Christian singer -songwriter David Meece, released in 1980 on Myrrh Records. This would be Meece's first charting album on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart climbing to number 3. The song "We Are the Reason" was his signature song and he would perform it in his concerts and still to this day after 40 years. The song has been covered by many artists and sung in several languages. CCM Magazine ranks the song at number 63 on their 2006 book The 100 Greatest Songs in Christian Music. Meece earned his first two Dove Award nominations for Male Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year for "We Are the Reason." The album is produced by Brown Bannister. "We Are the Reason" is Meece's most streamed song on Spotify with over 1 million streams.
