Artist of My Soul is the 17th studio album by Christian singer Sandi Patty, released on October 14, 1997 by Word Records. The album is produced by Robbie Buchanan, whose production and songwriting credits include Amy Grant, Whitney Houston, Rascal Flatts and Neil Diamond. It is more of a return to her middle-of-the-road (MOR) sound, more inspirational and less pop sounding from her previous albums Le Voyage and Find It on the Wings. Artist of My Soul peaked at number 7 on the Top Christian Albums. number 3 on the Heatseekers Albums and number 155 on the Top 200 Albums charts in Billboard magazine. Patty won a Dove Award for Inspirational Album of the Year at the 29th GMA Dove Awards.
