Chain of Grace is the 24rd release and 21th studio album by Christian singer - songwriter Dallas Holm. It was released in February 1992 and it is Holm's return to the Benson label, where he started early in his career. Holm was on the Word Records label for the past five years where he released four solo albums and one collaboration album from 1985 to 1991. The album was produced by Ron W. Griffin.
It is Holm's first Benson album since his 1983 release Signal with his band Praise. Just like his previous release Through the Flame, the album is upbeat but has established Holm as an adult contemporary artist and has a country flare. Holm has enlisted the help with CCM artists like Steven Curtis Chapman, Geoff Moore and Kevin Max of DC Talk for backing vocals on the album's opening track "In My Father's House" and "It's Time." The title song, featuring backing vocals by 4Him, was the lead single and climbed to number one on the Christian AC chart, his first chart topper since "I Saw the Lord" a decade earlier. Chain of Grace peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. The album is currently out of print and is not available digitally.
