Count the Cost is the fifth studio album by Christian singer -songwriter David Meece, released in 1983 on Myrrh Records. It is Meece's first studio album in three years and the album is more contemporary pop with some uptempo songs. The song "Falling Down" is based on a sonata by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Meece co-wrote the first single "And You Know It's Right" with fellow singer -songwriter Michael W. Smith and producer Brown Bannister. Count the Cost climbed to number 6 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart.
