Directions Home (Songs We Love, Songs You Know)Â is the 13th studio album by the
Christian female vocal group Point of Grace, released on April 7, 2015 by Word/
Curb/Warner Bros. Records. The trio produced the album with assistance from Stuart Dill, Andy Leftwich and Roger Ryan.
It is the trio's first non-holiday covers album featuring a couple of well-known songs like "The Climb" (originally recorded by Miley Cyrus) and the number one CCM and country hit "Something In the Water" (originally recorded by country singer and American Idol Season 5 winner Carrie Underwood). Also included are a couple of Christian songs like Wayne Watson's Dove Award-winning classic "Friend of a Wounded Heart" and Matt Maher's "Lord, I Need You." Point of Grace recorded two new tracks: the title song featuring award-winning country artist Vince Gill and "Two Roads" featuring country/bluegrass musician Ricky Skaggs.
Directions Home debuted and peaked at number 26 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart.
In the fall of 2015, Directions Home was nominated for a Dove Award for Bluegrass/Country Album of the Year and in 2016, it was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Roots Gospel Album. It is Point of Grace's third Grammy nomination and their first since 1998's Steady On.
