Edge of the World (2002)


Edge of the World is the 16th studio album by Christian singer - songwriter Randy Stonehill. It was released on November 6, 2002 by Fair Lawn Records and distributed by INSP Media Group. The album was produced by Stonehill and Bob Kilpatrick.


Edge of the World is described as a return to Stonehill's early roots of his 1970s period like Born Twice and Welcome to Paradise. Some highlights include the tracks "That's the Way It Goes" (a vocal duet with long-time friend and musician Phil Keaggy) and "We Were All So Young" features guest vocals by Stonehill's friends from the Jesus Music era: Keaggy, Russ Taff, Larry Norman, Barry McGuire, Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul & Mary, Annie Herring of 2nd Chapter of Acts and the band Love Song. Stonehill wrote all the songs on the album, along with producer Kilpatrick co-writing tracks and long-time friend Daniel Amos lead singer and songwriter Terry Scott Taylor co-writing the track "Far, Far."

Other guests on the album are Sara Groves and Michael Roe of the Christian alternative band The 77's
