Find It On the Wings is the 14th studio album by Christian singer Sandi Patty, released on October 25, 1994 by Word Records.
It is the first album on which the singer uses her real last name "Patty," and she continues to use it on future releases. Patty collaborated with producer Phil Ramone (Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin) and songwriters Burt Bacharach and Will Jennings on the track "If I Want To," while her long-time producer Greg Nelson produced the rest of the album. Patty also sings a duet with R&B singer Peabo Bryson on the gospel track "Make It 'til Tomorrow." CCM singer/songwriter Cindy Morgan contributed the song "When I Heal." Producer Nelson and songwriter Bob Farrell wrote three songs together. A music video was made for the lead single "Carry On," written by Farrell and Michael W. Smith.
Find It On the Wings peaked at number 3 on the Top Christian Albums and made her first appearance on the Billboard Heatseekers Album chart at number 33. In 1995, Patty won a Dove Award for Inspirational Album of the Year at the 26th GMA Dove Awards and in 1996 was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album at the 38th Grammy Awards.
