Find Us Faithful (1988)

Find Us Faithful is the fifth studio album by Christian singer Steve Green, released on May 23, 1988 by Sparrow Records. The album was produced by Greg Nelson.

Released nearly two years after his bestseller For God and God Alone, Find Us Faithful finds Green embracing his inspirational sound with some light touches of adult contemporary and middle-of-the road (MOR) music. Songwriting

contributions include MIchael W. Smith, Michael Card, Gloria Gaither and Jon Mohr. Green was the first to record the Twila Paris hymn-like track "For the Glory of the Lord." Paris herself later recorded her song on her 1988 album For Every Heart.

The album also features guest appearances by Green's wife Marijean Green singing a duet called "Cherish the Treasure," CCM singer - songwriter Kelly

Willard provides guest vocals on "He Who Began a Good Work in You" and

American country/bluegrass musician Ricky Skaggs provides guest vocals on "The Word." Find Us Faithful peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. In 1989, Green earned his fourth and final Grammy nomination for Best Gospel Performance, Male for this album and at the Dove Awards, Green was nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year and Artist of the Year.
