Giants in the Land (1985)

Giants in the Land is the fourth studio album by Christian singer - songwriter Wayne Watson. Released in the fall of 1985, it is Watson's first album on Word Records' DaySpring label. The album was produced by Watson and Scott Hendricks. With a fresh new sound (and a fresh new look), Giants in the Land produced five Top 10 hits with three of those tracks going Top 5 on the Christian radio charts: "Lookin' Out for Number One," "Peace That Passes Understanding" and "Somewhere in the World." The album reached number 13 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart in mid-1986. In 1987, Watson earned a Dove Award nomination for Male Vocalist of the Year.
