Hide 'Em In Your Heart: Bible Memory Melodies is the first children's music album
by Christian singer Steve Green. It was originally released in the fall of 1990 on Sparrow Records. It is the first of a multi-volume series of children's albums with narration by Green, teaching children how to memorize simple Bible verses through songs. The series is also released on VHS and, later, DVD. The Bible texts read are taken from the New King James and New International versions. Green's children, Josiah and Summer, were part of the Bible Scripture Reciters reading scripture texts from the Bible. The first video release of the series featured 13 of the 20 songs and was Platinum certified by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) by 1999.
Hide 'Em In Your Heart was created by Frank and Betsy Hernandez and is
arranged by Frank Hernandez and Fletch Wiley. Betsy wrote the narration and Frank wrote and produced all the songs, with the exception of the tracks "Where Two or Three" and "For All Have Sinned/For God So Loved" which was written by Hernandez and Dave Hampton. Hide 'Em In Your Heart peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. In 1991, Green won a Dove Award for Children's Music Album of the Year in which he shared with Frank and Betsy Hernandez at the 22nd GMA Dove Awards. The album was reissued in 2003 with an updated album cover.
