Holm, Sheppard, Johnson is the first collaborative album by musicians and songwriters Dallas Holm, Tim Sheppard and Phil Johnson. It was released on August 31, 1981 by Greentree/Benson Records. It was produced by the trio themselves. It is Holm's first collaboration album in 15 years since his debut collaborative album Just a Closer Walk with Phil Eksted and Don Moore in 1966 and his first album outside of Praise, but it is Holm's 16th release overall. It is also Sheppard and Johnson's first time collaborating with Holm in a recorded setting since Johnson is known for producing Holm's albums in the past.
Each member has contributed songwriting on this project. The track "Drawin' From the Well" was the trio's first Top 5 hit peaking at number 3 on the Christian AC radio chart. Holm, Sheppard, Johnson peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart in early 1982. The trio would not make another album until 1989 with their second release Soldiers Again. Holm, Sheppard, Johnson is not available on CD and is not available digitally. A YouTube link to listen to the album is posted below this article.
