Home Run is the sixth studio album by the Christian rock band Geoff Moore & The Distance, released in 1995 on Forefront Records. The album is produced by Phil Naish and Jimmie Lee Sloas. There is a change in line-up with The Distance as Chuck Conner replaced Greg Herrington as the new drummer starting with this album and is the last album to feature Roscoe Meek as the lead guitarist. Joel McCreight would replace Meek in 1996.
Singer - songwriter and friend Steven Curtis Chapman co-wrote two songs with Moore with "Tell Me Again" and the title song, which serves as the lead single and music video, featuring former Major League Baseball All-Star pitcher Tim Burke. A music video was also made for the further single "The Vow." Jimmie Lee Sloas (formerly of The Imperials) produced and co-wrote five songs with Moore. Home Run's musical direction is more towards a modern rock sound. The album peaked at the Top 10 at number 10 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Gospel Album.
