I've Just Seen Jesus is the sixth studio album by Christian gospel singer Larnelle Harris, released in 1985 on Impact Records. The album is produced by Greg Nelson with Bill Gaither serving as executive producer. It climbed to number 12 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart.
I've Just Seen Jesus became Harris' best selling album and critically acclaimed and won accolades including two Grammy Awards for Best Gospel Performance by a Duo or Group for the title song featuring multi-award winning Christian singer Sandi Patty (they won previously for their performance of "More Than Wonderful" in 1984) and Best Gospel Performance, Male for the track "How Excellent Is Thy Name" at the 28th Grammy Awards. In 1986, Harris won two Dove Awards for Male Vocalist of the Year and Inspirational Album of the Year at the 17th GMA Dove Awards. The following year, "How Excellent Is Thy Name" was named Song of the Year giving to its writers Dick and Melodie Tunney and former Imperials lead vocalist Paul Smith.
CCM Magazine ranked the song "How Excellent Is Thy Name" at number 85 in their 2006 book The 100 Greatest Songs in Christian Music.
