Introducing The Winans (1981)

Introducing The Winans is the debut album by the Christian gospel vocal group The Winans. It was released in July 1981 by Light Records. The album was produced and arranged by Andraé Crouch and Bill Maxwell. The album features the gospel hit "The Question Is." The Winans earned their first Grammy nomination for Best Soul Gospel Performance, Contemporary for this album in 1982. Sibling Marvin Winans wrote eight out of the album's nine songs, with twin brother Carvin co-writing and singing lead on the track "Self." Crouch provides guest vocals on the track "I Know Someone."
