Liver (1995)

Liver is a live album by Christian musician Steve Taylor, released in 1995 on Warner Alliance Records. The live set was produced by Taylor and Russ Long and was recorded in one take on October 22, 1994 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Taylor performs his catalog of songs including songs from his most recent release Squint, plus two songs from Chagall Guevara's 1991 album. A live version of "On the Fritz" was released to Christian Rock radio as the album's only single and music video. Liver debuted and peaked at number 36 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart.


After this release, Taylor was focusing more on producing albums, especially albums by the Australian -American Christian rock band Newsboys and running his record label Squint Entertainment, where he was developing artists like the band Sixpence None the Richer with the release of their 1997 self-titled album as well as songwriting and film making.
