New Lives for Old (1982)

New Lives for Old is the second studio album by Christian singer - songwriter Wayne Watson, released in 1982 on Milk & Honey Records. Watson produced the album with Brian Tankersley. The title song and "The Sacrifice" were both Top 10 hits on the Christian radio charts. The track "Roll On" was written by David & The Giants' lead singer David W. Huff. New Lives for Old, along with his next release Man in the Middle, was released as a double disc CD in 1988 omitting the songs

"In Those Eyes" and "The Greatest Is Love," but has since been out of print and it is not available digitally. A YouTube link to listen to the album is posted below this article. In 1983, Watson earned his first two Dove Award nominations for Inspirational Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year.
