Non-Fiction is the third studio album by Christian singer - songwriter Bob Bennett. It was released in late 1985 on Star Song Records. The album was produced by Jonathan David Brown.
It is Bennett's first album of new material in three years after the success of his critically acclaimed album Matters of the Heart. After his previous label Priority Records folded, Bennett was without a record label while making Non-Fiction. In 1985, Star Song Records reissued Matters of the Heart while also signing him. That same year in the fall, Bennett toured with Amy Grant as the opening act on her Unguarded Tour. Non-Fiction produced the radio favorite "Still Rolls the Stone" and climbed to the Top 10 on the Christian radio charts by the spring of 1986. Bennett wrote all nine songs with some co-writes by Michael Aguilar and Smitty Price.
