Ph'lip Side is the fifth solo album by Christian singer/songwriter/guitarist Phil Keaggy. It was released in September 1980 and is his first album on Sparrow Records. Keaggy co-produced the album with Dan Collins. To date, it is the only Phil Keaggy release to feature a double-sided cover image, in order to visually convey the "acoustic" and "electric" sides of the album. Corresponding song tracks are listed alongside each image. Guests on the album providing backing vocals are Matthew Ward of 2nd Chapter of Acts, Mylon LeFevre, Collins' wife Christian singer Jamie Owens-Collins and original Petra lead vocalist Greg X. Volz.
In 1982, Sparrow reissued Ph'lip Side with a new track "In Your Keep" replacing "Send Out Your Light," that was on the original 1980 release, along with a new track listing. The original 1980 album used "This Side" as the front album cover. Then with the new track, "That Side," to this day, is the current front album cover.
In 1991, Myrrh/Word Records reissued Ph'lip Side, along with Town to Town and Play Thru Me on 2 CDs, splitting the album. Tracks 10 -14 are on "This Disc" with tracks 1 -4 on "That Disc." The album climbed to number 4 on the Billboard Top Inspirational Albums chart by March 1981.
The 2022 reissue of Ph'lip Side on Strobie Records contains all ten tracks including the omitted track "Send Out Your Light" along with its replacement track "In Your Keep."
