Real Life is the debut album by Christian singer -songwriter Cindy Morgan, released on February 25, 1992 by Word Records. The album was produced by Mark Hammond. Real Life has an R&B/Pop Dance feel showcasing Morgan's vocals. She co-wrote four songs and wrote the album's final track "How Could I Ask For More." A music video was made for the song. The first three singles "Let It Be Love," "It's Gonna Be Heaven" and the title song all topped The CCM Update's Christian CHR chart. Real Life peaked at number 22 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. In 1993, Morgan was named New Artist of the Year at the 24th GMA Dove Awards.
NOTE: In the summer of 1992 just as Morgan's second single "It's Gonna Be Heaven" hit number one on the Christian CHR chart, Morgan also hit number one on the Christian AC chart with "Somewhere Within the Heart," a duet with Christian singer Carman while "It's Gonna Be Heaven" peaked at number 9 on the same chart, giving Morgan the distinction of having two songs on the same
chart at the same time.
