Stories is a compilation album by Christian singer - songwriter Randy Stonehill, released on May 25, 1993 by Myrrh/Word Records. Stories is a collection of Stonehill's "story songs" that are taken from his previous releases on the Myrrh label of mostly ballads including "Still, Small Voice," "Rachel Delevoryas," "Coming Back Soon," "Turning Thirty" and six other tracks. Terry Scott Taylor, who produced Stonehill's previous album Wonderama, produced two new tracks "I Thirst for You" and "Charlie the Weatherman" as well as an acoustic recording of The Wild Frontier track "Hope of Glory." Stonehill dedicated this collection to fellow musician, singer and songwriter Mark Heard who hide died from suffering a heart attack on stage during his final performance at Cornerstone Festival in Chicago, Illinois just a few weeks prior in August 1992. This is Stonehill's final release on Word Records overall after nine albums.
