The Second Decade (1993 - 2003) is the second compilation album by Christian singer -songwriter Michael W. Smith, released on October 7, 2003 by Reunion Records.
This is Smith's second greatest hits compilation album, picking up where his first greatest hits compilation, The First Decade (1983-1993), left off. The Second Decade contains two new songs: "Signs" and "Raging Sea" and an 2003 recording of Smith's signature song "Friends" featuring Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, Avalon, Point of Grace, Michael Tait of DC Talk, Mac Powell of Third Day and Joy Williams taken from the 2003 various artists compilation album Dove Awards 2003. A Limited Edition version of the album was also released, which included The Second Decade DVD. This disc contained the following music videos: "Live the Life," "Love Me Good," "There She Stands" and "Secret Ambition." The DVD extras include a discography and a look back at Smith's 20 years in two chapters: "The Second Decade...A Look Back" and "20 Years of Changing Your World."
The Second Decade topped the Billboard Top Christian Albums and peaked at number 38 on the Top 200 Albums chart.
