Until We Have Wings is a half studio and half live album by Christian singer - songwriter Randy Stonehill, released on August 15, 1990 by Myrrh/Word Records. The album was produced by Mark Heard with Stonehill co-producing.
Until We Have Wings features seven new studio tracks covering the first half of the album while the last seven tracks of Stonehill's best songs were recorded live direct to digital from Southern California in the months of February and March of 1990. The studio tracks were recorded at Heard's studio Fingerprint in Los Angeles. The album was released just as Stonehill was celebrating his 20th year as an artist and musician.
A companion live concert video was also released on VHS titled One Night in 20 Years featuring Stonehill performing nine songs with special guests including Amy Grant, Gary Chapman, Michael W. Smith, Bryan Duncan and many others.
Until We Have Wings peaked at number 15 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. It is Stonehill's first chart appearance on the Christian Albums chart in three years. It is not available for streaming or download. A YouTube link to listen to the album is posted below this article.
NOTE: the album's lead single "Faithful" was co-written with "Giovanni Audiori" which is a pseudonym for Heard.
